In addition to, earlier typical work activities,
Process Engineers in SAMREF are also members of
the main areas Business Team Organizations
(BT’s). The BT has been delegated the ownership
and responsibility by steering team (ST) to
promote cross-functional alignment and
accountability between Operation, Maintenance
and Technical departments for meeting refinery
objectives.
Process Engineering section is considered the
home base for developing new chemicals engineers
at SAMREF, which include the following:
Develop new engineers to learn refinery basics and means to provide necessary technical supports.
Develop new engineers to learn refinery basics and means to provide necessary technical supports.
- Explore potential capabilities to progress under the designated Employee Development Programs in SAMREF, which includes ESP (Engineer Specialist Program) and MDP (Management Devolving Program)
- Also, prepare candidates to join other manufacturing organization such as Operation department, Advance Control and Economics & Planning sections within the Technical department.
